Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a general score of 75.5, which is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's overall score of 57.6. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is a newer device, and it is also a little bit lighter and just a little thinner than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a little faster processing unit than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has 1 GB more RAM. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features just a bit better screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a bit bigger display, a better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixels density.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 256 GB.
