Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is much better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a 75.1 score against 57.6. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with Windows 10 Pro OS, while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Even being the best portable tablet in this review, Microsoft Surface Pro 4's design is older, extremely heavier and just a little thicker than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a little more vivid display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a just a little lower pixel amount in each inch in the display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1824 x 2736px and a really bigger screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage capacity.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a much powerful CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Both have the same video frame rate, the same (Full HD) video quality and a 8 mega pixels camera in the back.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is way more expensive than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
