Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a general score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 general score. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1's design is incredibly older, thicker and much heavier than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has the previous 3.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a little bit better display than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit superior processor than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and also faster). Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a superior battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much better camera than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution, a lot bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and videos and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 is also a bargain compared to others.
