Comparison review
OSCAL Spider 8 is better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a 64.4 score against 57.6. OSCAL Spider 8's construction is notably newer, but way thicker and a lot heavier than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the OSCAL Spider 8 has the previous 13 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
OSCAL Spider 8 and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD feature really similar screens, because although the OSCAL Spider 8 has a little less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1200 x 1920px, it also counts with a bigger screen. The OSCAL Spider 8 has a little bit better performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OSCAL Spider 8 also has more RAM memory.
OSCAL Spider 8 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1 TB. The OSCAL Spider 8 counts with a much better battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has 13000mAh of battery capacity instead of 5100mAh.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a lot better camera than OSCAL Spider 8, although it has a lot less mega pixels camera in the back.
