Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.7, which is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's overall score of 57.6. These tablets use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the previous 4.2.2 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch design is just a little thinner and a little lighter than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, even though it was released 4 years before.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a bit superior processor than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 6 lesser cpu cores, it also counts with an extra GPU. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a same size display, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a greater pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has more memory capacity for applications and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4450mAh.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures way better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video definition and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is also the cheapest one.
