Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a global score of 67.8, which is much better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's overall score of 57.6. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a notably heavier portable tablet than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but both of them have the same thickness. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has older 4.4.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher 8 MP resolution and a much better video quality.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features improved battery lifetime than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
