Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a 63.5 score against 57.6. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has an older 4.0 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's body has the same thickness than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's a bit heavier.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a little sharper screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it has a lot worse quantity of pixels in each inch in the display, a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a quite smaller screen.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's battery performance is just as good as Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's battery duration.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE costs more than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
