Comparison review
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is slightly better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a 62.8 score against 57.6. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it gives you a lot of extra features and increased performance. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's design is a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, even though it was released about a year before.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a much greater pixel density and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD one, they have a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 128 GB and equal 16 GB internal memory capacity. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 5100mAh battery size.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video quality and a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also a lot cheaper.
