Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a score of 65.7, which is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 score. These devices use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a newer tablet device than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it is just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a larger number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
