Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is much better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a overall score of 64.9 against 57.6. Galaxy Tab E 8.0's body is just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has an older 5.1 Lollipop version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM memory. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a same size display, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a better display pixel density.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a better camera than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video quality, a larger aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD one, both have equal 16 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
