Comparison review
The Galaxy View is slightly better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a score of 61.5 against 57.6. Galaxy View's construction is older, heavier and much thicker than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Galaxy View counts with just a little better hardware performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy View, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy View features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy View also has more internal storage.
Galaxy View counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery capacity. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy View.
Although Galaxy View is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
