Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a general score of 65.3, which is better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 score. Although Samsung Galaxy View 2 is incredibly newer than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, it is noticeably thicker and way heavier. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Galaxy View 2 has just a little better processing power than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both of them have a 3 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much sharper screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a way better pixel count per screen inch.
The Galaxy View 2 counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy View 2 counts with a way better battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 12000mAh battery capacity.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy View 2.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
