Comparison review
The Acer Iconia A1 is a little bit better than Verizon Ellipsis 8, getting a 55.4 score against 50.8. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Acer Iconia A1 has the previous 4.1 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Despite being the best we compare here, Acer Iconia A1's body is way thicker and somewhat heavier than Verizon Ellipsis 8.
Acer Iconia A1 has a bit more vivid screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8, although it has a bit worse 768 x 1024px resolution, a little bit smaller screen and a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen.
