Comparison review
Acer Iconia A3 has a general score of 55.2, which is a bit better than Verizon Ellipsis 8's 50.8 score. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Acer Iconia A3 has an older 4.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Acer Iconia A3 body is much heavier and thicker than Verizon Ellipsis 8.
Acer Iconia A3 features a better looking display than Verizon Ellipsis 8, because although it has a little bit lower count of pixels per display inch, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Acer Iconia A3 also counts with a larger display. Acer Iconia A3 and Verizon Ellipsis 8 count with incredibly similar processors, and although the Acer Iconia A3 has an extra graphics processing unit, they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and 4 CPU cores.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 has just a bit better camera than Acer Iconia A3. Both have the same resolution back-facing camera. Acer Iconia A3's memory capacity for apps and games is very similar to Verizon Ellipsis 8's one, they have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds up to 32 GB.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 features a really longer battery life than Acer Iconia A3, because it has a 41 percent larger battery size.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Acer Iconia A3 is also the cheapest.
