Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is much better than Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 8, getting a 61.8 score against 51.9. The Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS, and Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 8 comes with Android 4.4 OS. Microsoft Surface 2's construction has the same thickness than the Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 8, but it's notably heavier.
The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a just a bit worse screen pixels density, a much lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a way smaller display.
