The Apple iPad mini 2 has a general score of 77.2, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's 65.7 global score. The Apple iPad mini 2 is a older, a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier tablet than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. The Apple iPad mini 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, and Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with Android operating system.
IPad mini 2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because although it has 2 less and slower cores and 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional GPU. IPad mini 2 has a much better display than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. Both have exactly the same resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, a screen with the same size and the same display pixel density.
IPad mini 2 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, although it has a worse video definition, a camera in the back with a lot lower 5 mega pixels resolution and a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs and videos in low light situations. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
