Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's 65.7 general score. Galaxy Note 8.0 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has Android operating system. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is an extremely older, somewhat thicker and a little heavier tablet than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2.
Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and although they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a graphics processor. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot better pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 takes slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a way better resolution back-facing camera. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 6190mAh of battery capacity against 4600mAh.
Although Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 8.0, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, letting go some features and specifications.
