Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi MiPad's 64.4 general score. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's body is just a little bit thinner and a little lighter than Xiaomi MiPad, although it was released a little bit further than a year before. Xiaomi MiPad counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot better screen density and a way better 2048 x 1536 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi MiPad, and although they both have 4 cores and the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an extra graphics co-processor. The Xiaomi MiPad features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a lot better (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a much better 8 MP resolution.
Xiaomi MiPad features a bit more memory for applications and games than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi MiPad counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a little more expensive than Xiaomi MiPad, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
