Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a general score of 76.7, which is a lot better than the Xiaomi pad 5's overall score of 57.7. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and the Xiaomi pad 5 were released with only a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is just a bit thinner and a little lighter. Both devices we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has the newer 13 version while Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12, so it offers a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.
The Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi pad 5. They have the same display density, the same exact resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a screen with the same size. The Galaxy Tab S8 features a much faster CPU than Xiaomi pad 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab S8 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. Both of them have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same video frame rates and a 13 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back. The Galaxy Tab S8 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi pad 5, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab S8 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The Xiaomi pad 5 features a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because it has an 8720mAh battery size.
