Lenovo didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 20.46 ounces tablet device. This device is just 0.35 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet's category. The Lenovo IdeaTab S2 is a compact portable tablet, taking into consideration it features a 9.7" display and it's just 9.72 inches long.
Lenovo decided to build the Lenovo IdeaTab S2 using a good performance 1000 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with 1 GB RAM memory. Graphic intensive applications and games usually uses lots of processor time, so it uses a PowerVR SGX540 graphic processing unit clocking at 200 megahertz to unload the processor. A great point of this tablet is the 32 GB inmense internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, enough to store tons of apps, games, pictures and videos without even thinking about how much memory is left.
Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S2 offers wi-fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot). This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S2 only has a 1.3 megapixels front side camera.
The Lenovo IdeaTab S2 also comes with some interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.
