Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Review

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet is a nice Android tablet, coming with a fast Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1 gigahertz, a large 10.1-inches capacitive display, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera.

This tablet is quite thick for today's standards, being as thick as 0.55". Though this device is only 10.25" long, it is still able to fit a a 10.1" screen. It seems like Lenovo didn't care so much about the weight in this 25.22 oz tablet.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet is equipped with an average 800 x 1280 10.1-inches screen, providing this tablet device with a nice graphical experience. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

Lenovo decided to design this tablet using a great performance 1000 MHz Dual-Core processing unit, packed into the NVIDIA Tegra 2 system chip and 1 GB of RAM memory. A good point of the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet is the 64 GB big internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, allowing the user to store hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games currently available without worrying about running out of space at all.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera.

This tablet has wifi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connection type, over UMTS technologies. The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it is not a GSM tablet.

This tablet also comes with a couple interesting features like Bluetooth (2.0) and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet uses amassive 3250 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery that can keep it running for several hours without having to charge it. An issue to consider is that this device's battery isn't removable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, although with its 3250 mAh you will probably discard this tablet before it becomes an issue.
