HTC Desire V has an overall score of 49, which is just a bit better than Acer Liquid's 45 score. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but HTC Desire V has 4.0 version while Acer Liquid has Android 1.6, providing a couple nice extra features and improved performance. HTC Desire V is a a lot newer phone, and it's also lighter and a lot thinner than Acer Liquid.

HTC Desire V features a slightly better screen than Acer Liquid, because although it has a quite lower quantity of pixels per display inch, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 480, the HTC Desire V also counts with a bit larger display.
