Acer Liquid Review

Acer Liquid is a fair quality cellphone launched in 2009, which features a 3.5 inches capacitive display, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a processing unit ticking at 768 MHz.

The Acer Liquid is equipped with a fast 768 MHz processor, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 system chip and as little as 256 MB of RAM. Collaborating with graphic calculations, the Acer Liquid also counts with an Adreno 200 GPU working at 128 MHz.

This phone doesn't feel very lightweight comparing with today standards, weighting 4.76 ounces.

This cellphone only has a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera. It can also film VGA 640x480 videos at 20 fps. In addition, the camera includes auto-focus.

Acer designed this cellphone with a good looking 3.5-inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels in the display. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone counts with a 1350 mAh medium sized Li-Ion battery providing this phone with a quite short battery duration. Acer says this cellphone has a 5 hours talk time and a 400 hours stand by time.

This device has WiFi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem) and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

The Acer Liquid also includes a few nice features as Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories), GPS (Global Positioning System) and FM Radio, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This device costs 130 dollars, which is a high price for this kind of phone.
