Motorola DROID Turbo Review

Motorola DROID Turbo is a top-notch cellphone launched back in 2014, provisioned with a very powerful Quad-Core CPU speeding at 2700 MHz, a big 5.2" touch-screen, a 20.7 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front side camera. Great! That's it? Not at all, it's only the introduction of this in-depth review.

The Motorola DROID Turbo is equipped with a high-tech 2700 MHz Quad-Core processor, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 chip with a large 3 GB of RAM. Graphic intensive apps and games usually consume lots of processing time, so this cellphone counts with an additional 500 megahertz Adreno 420 GPU to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. This cellphone counts with an awesome 64 GB internal memory and although it doesn't count with a slot for SD memory cards, it is still enough to store hundreds of apps and even the heaviest games currently available without having to worry about running out of space.

While the Motorola DROID Turbo is only 5.65 inches long, it still manages to pack a 5.2" display. This phone is slim and practical, but it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones you can find, with a thickness of 0.44". Motorola made this cellphoneavailable just in black and blue. It seems like Motorola decided not to care much about the weight in this 6.21 oz cellphone.

This device offers Wi-Fi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high performance internet connection and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSPA, UMTS, EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Nano SIM card to connect to GSM networks and it can work with both CDMA and GSM.

This cellphone also includes a wide variety of useful characteristics as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your phone close to another NFC device or tag), Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone uses an amazing 3900 mAh replaceable battery, enough to provide this phone with an extremely long battery duration.

The Motorola DROID Turbo is a very high-end phone that costs around 135 dollars, quite close to other same level cellphones.
