Samsung OMNIA is a decent Windows Mobile Professional cellphone released back in 2008, which features a medium 3.2-inches screen, a powerful 624 MHz processing unit and a 5 megapixels back side camera.
This phone is a bit heavy for a cellphone of this size, weighting 4.3 oz. Though the Samsung OMNIA has 4.41" long and 2.24 inches wide, it only comes with a much smaller 3.2" screen.
This device includes a nice 400 x 240 3.2-inches display, providing this phone with a good graphical experience. Its display uses TFT resistive technology, but it's not multi-touch.
Samsung decided to build this phone with a fast processing unit clocking at 624 MHz with only 128 MB of RAM. A nice advantage of this phone is its big 16 GB internal storage and an SD memory slot, enough to store hundreds of apps without any problem.
The Samsung OMNIA counts with wifi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and 3G fast data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.
The Samsung OMNIA is only equipped with a 5 megapixels back side camera. To complete the camera, it also includes a lot of useful features like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, HDR mode, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.
The Samsung OMNIA also comes with a handful of cool features like Bluetooth (2.0) and GPS Localization, and Accelerometer.
This phone packs a 1440 mAh medium sized Li-Ion removable battery, which is not really enough for a cellphone like this. Samsung informs a stand by time of 500 hs and a talk time of 5.8 hours for this cellphone.
Samsung is selling this cellphone for 85 dollars, which is not a really offer for comparing with similar cellphones.
