The Pantech Flex is very thin and practical, being just 0.31 inches thick. This device is much lighter than what you expect from a phone of this size.
Pantech equipped this phone with a good looking 4.3-inches display, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , which makes everything look beautiful. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
Pantech decided to sell this phone with a very fast 1.5 GHz Dual-Core CPU, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little bit low for such a powerful device. Collaborating with graphic intensive apps and games, the Pantech Flex also uses a 400 megahertz Adreno 225 GPU. The Pantech Flex comes with an 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and an external memory card slot, allowing you to install hundreds of applications without any problem.
This cellphone has WiFi capability (and it can share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE high performance internet connection and 3G fast connection type, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This phone features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera. The Pantech Flex can also capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps. This cellphone also includes a couple of good features like flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.
This cellphone comes with a medium sized 1830 mAh Li-Ion battery providing the Pantech Flex with a below average battery duration. According to Pantech, the Pantech Flex has a reported 10 hours talk time and a 430 hours stand by time.
