Samsung Epic 4G Touch is a mid level cellphone launched many years ago, featuring a good performance Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 gigahertz, a medium 4.5-inches multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, an 8 MP back camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera.
Samsung did a very nice job making this phone as lightweight as 4.6 ounces. Samsung offers this phone in 2 colors, black and white. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch just has 5.11" long and 2.74" wide, but it's able to fit a a 4.5" screen. This phone has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.38 inches.
Samsung decided to power this cellphone with a Samsung Exynos system chip, packing a good performance 1200 MHz Dual-Core processor with 1 GB of RAM. A good point of the Samsung Epic 4G Touch is its quite large 16 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards, allowing you to store hundreds of games and apps without any trouble.
This phone has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. It can also film 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. The camera also includes a couple of useful characteristics: flash, smile detection shooting and auto-focus.
Samsung designed the Samsung Epic 4G Touch with a interesting 4.5-inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes it hard to see the pixels that compose the display. Its display uses Super AMOLED Plus capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This cellphone features a mid sized 1800 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a quite short battery duration. Samsung says this device has a 252 hours stand by time and a 8.7 hs talk time.
The Samsung Epic 4G Touch provides wifi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, using EV-DO A technologies. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch doesn't have a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled phone and it can connect to CDMA carriers.
This device also includes a couple of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (enables communication with other devices, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
Samsung offers the Samsung Epic 4G Touch for $ 85, which is somewhat expensive for a phone this level. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch is definitely a very good choice for you it doesn't matter whether you need a phone to mainly use social networks and internet browsing, want it to play games, are an amateur photographer or need a work device.
