HTC Rezound is a solid phone released back in 2011, packed with a 4.3" capacitive touch-screen, a 1.5 gigahertz Dual-Core processor, and two cameras, an 8 MP back camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. Great! That's it? No, it's just the starting point of a detailed review.
HTC decided to sell this phone with a powerful 1500 MHz Dual-Core processor, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8660 system chip with 1 GB of RAM memory. A nice feature of this cellphone is the 16 GB quite big internal storage and an SD card slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred apps without worrying about space.
This device is a bit thick for nowadays standards, with its 0.54" thickness. It appears that HTC didn't care about the weight at all, releasing a 6 oz heavyweight product.
The HTC Rezound features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. This phone also shoots videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps, and slow-motion videos up to 1280x720 (HD) up to 60 frames per second (2 times slower than reality). Additionally, this cellphone's camera also features a couple of nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
The HTC Rezound has a gorgeous 1280 x 720 (HD) 4.3 inches display, providing this cellphone with a perfect image quality. This display uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
The HTC Rezound provides WiFi connectivity (and it can share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) fast connection type and 3G data connection, over EV-DO A technologies. This device doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections and it can connect to CDMA networks.
This phone also comes with a few useful characteristics like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone has a mid capacity 1620 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this phone a not very long battery durationcompared to other phones. HTC claims this device has a stand by time of 261 hours and a talk time of 6.7 hours.
This phone is probably a bit overvalued considering it is offerred for 85 dollars, and many similar phones cost a bit less than that. It doesn't matter whether you will use this cellphone to play tons of games or are looking for a social phone, this cellphone is a very good choice .
