LG Optimus L9 Review

LG Optimus L9 is a nice cellphone launched many years ago, featuring a medium 4.7 inches screen, a good performance 1 GHz Dual-Core processor, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera.

LG decided to build the LG Optimus L9 using a great performance 1 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit, bundled in a TI OMAP4430 chip and 1 GB of RAM. Graphic intensive applications and games often eats lots of processing power, so the LG Optimus L9 counts with a 200 MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU to improve overall performance. The LG Optimus L9 has a 4 GB internal memory, a decent quantity that should be enough for the average user having that it also has an external memory card slot .

The LG Optimus L9 feels much lighter than what one would expect from a cellphone this size. This phone is incredibly slim and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.36". Though this phone is only 5.19 inches long, it is able to fit a a 4.7" display.

This phone has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. It is capable of capturing videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). To complete the camera, it also features some interesting features: flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This cellphone is equipped with a good level 4.7 inches display with a 960 x 540 resolution, which makes it hard to see the pixels in the display. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone features a huge 2150 mAh Li-Ion battery providing this device a quite long battery life. LG claims this cellphone has a stand by time of 791 hs and a talk time of 16.5 hs.

This phone provides WiFi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone also comes with some nice characteristics like NFC, Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone may not be a very good choice considering it is priced 89 dollars, and other similar devices are being sold cheaper than that. This cellphone is probably the correct option for you no matter if you want this phone mostly for social networks or will use it to play games.
