HTC 7 Trophy is a mid-end cellphone released back in the year 2010, packed with a 3.8" multi-touch screen, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a fast 1000 MHz processor.
HTC decided to build this device using a good performance processor running at 1 GHz, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip and 576 MB of RAM. Graphic calculations usually uses lots of CPU cycles, so it has an extra 128 megahertz Adreno 200 GPU to help with that calculations. A good point of this cellphone is its quite big 8 GB internal storage memory and whereas it doesn't count with an SD memory slot, it should be enough to store hundreds of games and apps, but it might not be enough if you are fan of the largest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.
The HTC 7 Trophy feels a bit heavy for a cellphone of this size, weighting 4.94 oz.
HTC designed the HTC 7 Trophy with a good level 3.8" display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes everything look very good. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
This phone is equipped with only a 5 megapixels back side camera. It also shoots 1280x720 HD videos at 24 fps. Additionally, this phone's camera also counts with flash and auto-focus.
This device features WiFi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless modem or router) and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.
The HTC 7 Trophy also features a handful of cool features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Localization and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device counts with a 1300 mAh medium Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a thirsty phone like this. According to HTC, this phone has an aproximate talk time of 6.8 hours and a stand by time of 360 hs.
The HTC 7 Trophy is being sold for about $ 80, which is a really high price for a phone this level.
