HTC 7 Trophy is a mid-end Windows Phone 7.5 Mango phone launched back in 2010, counting with a medium sized 3.8" multi-touch capacitive display, a fast 1000 MHz CPU and a 5 MP back camera.
HTC appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.94 oz phone.
This cellphone has a good looking 800 x 480 3.8 inches display, which makes it hard to see the pixels in the display. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
This phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip, which holds a powerful 1 GHz CPU and 576 MB RAM memory. Graphic rendering generally consume a lot of CPU time, so it uses an extra 128 megahertz Adreno 200 graphic processing unit to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. A good feature of the HTC 7 Trophy is its 8 GB quite big internal memory and whereas it doesn't have an SD card slot, it is enough to store hundreds of applications and games, but it might not be enough if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games currently available.
This phone is only equipped with a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera. It is also able to film videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 24 fps. This phone also includes auto-focus and flash.
This device has wi-fi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a router or modem) and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM services.
This phone also includes a few nice features such as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Navigation and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone packs a good 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is quite low for a thirsty phone like this. HTC afirms this device has a 6.8 hours talk time and a 360 hours stand by time.
HTC sells this cellphone for 80 dollars, which is very expensive for a device this level.
