Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S II CDMA has the previous 2.3 version while Alcatel OneTouch Idol Alpha has Android 4.2.

The Alcatel OneTouch Idol Alpha has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy S II CDMA, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol Alpha also has a higher number of 1200 megahertz cores. Alcatel OneTouch Idol Alpha counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S II CDMA, because it has a little bigger screen, a lot higher 1280 x 720 resolution and a way greater count of pixels per inch of display.
