Comparison review

The Samsung Rugby Smart is just a bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol, getting a 59.4 score against 54.6. The Samsung Rugby Smart is an older, noticeably thicker and a little bit heavier device than Alcatel OneTouch Idol. These phones use Android operating system, but Samsung Rugby Smart has 2.3.5 version while Alcatel OneTouch Idol has Android 4.1.1 version.

Samsung Rugby Smart and Alcatel OneTouch Idol count with extremely similar processing units, although the Samsung Rugby Smart has less RAM, doesn't have a graphics processor and 1 less cpu cores (but faster). The Samsung Rugby Smart features just a bit better looking display than Alcatel OneTouch Idol, because although it has a much smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it also counts with a bit higher display pixels density.

The Alcatel OneTouch Idol counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Rugby Smart, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol also has 12 GB more internal storage. Alcatel OneTouch Idol has a little longer battery performance than Samsung Rugby Smart, because it has a 1800mAh battery size against 1650mAh.

The Samsung Rugby Smart captures much better pictures and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Idol, although it has a lower 1280x720 video definition and a back facing camera with lot less MP.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Rugby Smart is also the cheapest.
