Moto E5 has a global score of 66, which is a bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X's 60.6 overall score. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Moto E5 has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Alcatel OneTouch Idol X has Android 4.4.2 version. The Moto E5 design is a lot newer than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X's, but it's a lot thicker and way heavier.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol X features a way better screen than Motorola Moto E5, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot better count of pixels per display inch. Alcatel OneTouch Idol X features a little bit better processing power than Motorola Moto E5, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor and a 2 GB RAM, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X also has an extra graphics processor.
Motorola Moto E5 counts with a lot better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Idol X, although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. Moto E5 features more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Idol X, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Moto E5 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 128 GB.
Moto E5 counts with a really longer battery duration than Alcatel OneTouch Idol X, because it has a 100 percent greater battery size.
