Comparison review
IPhone 12 mini is a little bit better than LG V50 ThinQ, getting a score of 88.5 against 83.7. IPhone 12 mini works with iOS 14.x operating system, and LG V50 ThinQ works with Android 10 operating system. The iPhone 12 mini construction is newer, incredibly lighter and thinner than the LG V50 ThinQ.
IPhone 12 mini features a superior processing power than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has 2 less processing cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor. The iPhone 12 mini features a bit sharper screen than LG V50 ThinQ, although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a bit smaller display and a just a little lower screen pixel density.
LG V50 ThinQ has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Apple iPhone 12 mini, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The LG V50 ThinQ features a very superior battery performance than Apple iPhone 12 mini, because it has an 80% larger battery size.
The LG V50 ThinQ features a bit better camera than iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video resolution, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a bigger aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited situations.
Although iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG V50 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V50 ThinQ. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 12 mini, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG V50 ThinQ, giving up some features and specs.
