Comparison review
IPhone 12 is much better than the Galaxy A12, getting an 88.7 score against 80.3. IPhone 12 counts with iOS 15.x operating system, while Galaxy A12 has Android 10 operating system. Although iPhone 12 and Galaxy A12 were released only a couple of months apart, iPhone 12 is much lighter and somewhat thinner.
IPhone 12 has a superior processing unit than Galaxy A12, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the iPhone 12 also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
