Comparison review
The iPhone 6s Plus is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, having an 84.2 score against 76.4. The iPhone 6s Plus counts with iOS 9.x operating system, and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. IPhone 6s Plus is an older and extremely heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but Apple made it just a bit thinner anyway.
IPhone 6s Plus features just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a quite opaque screen and a just a little less pixels per display inch, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the iPhone 6s Plus also counts with a bit bigger screen. The Xiaomi Mi 5s's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to iPhone 6s Plus's one, both of them have equal internal memory.
IPhone 6s Plus has a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a lower number of cores and slower and 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64-bit CPU. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 6s Plus, because it has a 16% bigger battery size.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s and iPhone 6s Plus count with extremely similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a larger camera aperture to capture better photography in poorly lited situations and a much bigger sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Although iPhone 6s Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 6s Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, letting go a couple specs and features.
