The iPhone 6s has a global score of 83, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 overall score. IPhone 6s has iOS 9.x operating system, and Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. IPhone 6s's construction is thinner and a bit lighter than Xiaomi Mi 5s, even though it was released around 13 months before.
The iPhone 6s counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, although it has less bright display, a little bit smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 1334 x 750px and a just a little lower display pixel density. Xiaomi Mi 5s and iPhone 6s count with quite similar memory for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
The iPhone 6s has a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a lower number of slower cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an additional graphics processor. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a much longer battery life than iPhone 6s, because it has a 3200mAh battery size.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s's camera is very similar to the iPhone 6s one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and photographs, they both have a 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate.
Although iPhone 6s is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 6s, otherwise you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, letting go some specifications.
