The iPhone 7 Plus is a bit better than the Galaxy Alpha, having an 83.8 score against 76.3. IPhone 7 Plus is a somewhat thicker and way heavier cellphone than the Galaxy Alpha. Galaxy Alpha counts with a little faster processing unit than iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional GPU.
IPhone 7 Plus has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a larger screen, a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a greater pixels number per inch in the screen. Apple iPhone 7 Plus features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has more internal storage capacity.
IPhone 7 Plus counts with a way better battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 2900mAh battery size. The iPhone 7 Plus captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same video quality and a same resolution back camera, the iPhone 7 Plus also has a bigger aperture.

If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
