The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a score of 83.8, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 5's global score of 79.3. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus body is newer and a little thinner than the Galaxy Note 5's, but it's a little bit heavier. The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a little more vivid display than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a quite bigger display.
IPhone 7 Plus counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores. IPhone 7 Plus has a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Note 5 shoots clearer pictures and videos than iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a camera with much more mega-pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a bit superior battery performance than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 7 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, giving up some specs and features.
