The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has an overall score of 83.8, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note8's general score of 83. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus is an older cellphone than Samsung Galaxy Note8, but Apple was able to make it a little lighter and thinner anyway. Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better looking display than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960, a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a little bigger display.
IPhone 7 Plus features much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better performance than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a larger amount of RAM and more processing cores.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 captures clearer pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same video definition and a same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger back camera sensor and a larger aperture for better low light photography and videos.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better battery duration than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Apple iPhone 7 Plus, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Note8, resigning some features and specifications.
