Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a global score of 83.8, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active's score of 75.8. Apple iPhone 7 Plus's construction is way thinner but just a bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and both of them were only released 3 months apart. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a bit more vivid display than iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has way less brightness and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display pixels density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus features a little better performance than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 4 cores. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a much better storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
IPhone 7 Plus shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photos and videos, they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same video resolution. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
