The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has an overall score of 83.8, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S8's global score of 81.7. Although the Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S8 were only released 7 months apart, the Apple iPhone 7 Plus construction is heavier but just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy S8.
Galaxy S8's processing unit is very similar to the iPhone 7 Plus one, although the Galaxy S8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory and more cores. The Galaxy S8 features just a bit better screen than iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a quite bigger display, a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a better display pixels density.
Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit better camera than iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video quality and a 12 mega pixels camera in the back, the Galaxy S8 also has a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in low-light environments and a bigger sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.
IPhone 7 Plus has a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S8 counts with a bit superior battery life than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S8. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S8, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
