Comparison review
The iPhone 7 Plus is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5, having a overall score of 83.8 against 77.6. The iPhone 7 Plus design has the same thickness than Xperia Z5, but it is somewhat heavier. Xperia Z5 features a bit sharper screen than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a just a little higher display pixel density.
Apple iPhone 7 Plus features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Xperia Z5 features a little faster CPU than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Xperia Z5 also has more cpu cores and an additional graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 has a little bit better camera than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a F1.8 aperture, the Xperia Z5 also has a much bigger sensor and a much higher 23 MP resolution back facing camera.
Xperia Z5 counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 7 Plus, else you can save some money and get the Sony Xperia Z5, giving up some specifications.
