Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a general score of 83.8, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's general score of 77.5. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus construction is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, even when both of them were released only 9 months apart. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Apple iPhone 7 Plus also counts with a quite higher display pixel density.
IPhone 7 Plus counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a slightly better storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB more internal storage.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 7 Plus, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, letting go a couple specs and features.
