Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone II is slightly better than iPhone 8 Plus, getting a global score of 88 against 87.1. Asus ROG Phone II is a newer cellphone than the iPhone 8 Plus, although it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with just a bit better display than Asus ROG Phone II, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater display pixels density and a bit more brightness.
Asus ROG Phone II features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has more internal storage capacity. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with just a little better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone II, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 9 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
The Asus ROG Phone II captures much clearer pictures and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Asus ROG Phone II also has a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels and a much larger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
Asus ROG Phone II features a very superior battery performance than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
