IPhone 8 Plus is much better than Huawei P20, having a overall score of 87.1 against 78.1. The iPhone 8 Plus body has the same thickness than the Huawei P20, but it's somewhat heavier. The iPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.
IPhone 8 Plus counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei P20, although it has a little smaller screen, a bit less pixels per display inch and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a bit better camera than Huawei P20, because although it has a way smaller sensor capturing much worse quality pictures, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Apple iPhone 8 Plus also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
IPhone 8 Plus counts with a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20, because it has more internal memory capacity. Huawei P20 has superior battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 26 percent larger battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Huawei P20, giving up some specs and features.
