Even though Apple iPhone 8 Plus is older and a little heavier than the Galaxy Note9, it's body is still thinner. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit better looking display than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a way better 1440 x 2960px resolution, a higher pixels density and a larger display.

The Galaxy Note9 has slightly more memory capacity to store more games and applications than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The iPhone 8 Plus has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Note9, because although it has 2 lesser and slower CPU cores and less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.

The Galaxy Note9 takes a bit better pictures and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same resolution back camera, the Galaxy Note9 also has a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality and a larger aperture to capture better low-light photography.
