Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ3, having an 87.1 score against 79.6. Despite of the fact Apple iPhone 8 Plus is older and a little bit heavier than the Xperia XZ3, it's design is still way thinner. Xperia XZ3 counts with a little more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little darker display, it also counts with a higher pixel density, a much better resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a little larger screen.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit better processor than Xperia XZ3, because although it has a lower number of slower cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor. The Xperia XZ3 captures a bit better photographs and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments and lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor which gives a way better photo and video quality and a much better resolution back-facing camera.
The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a better storage to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Xperia XZ3 has longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3330mAh battery capacity.
IPhone 8 Plus costs a little more than Xperia XZ3, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
