The Apple iPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Pocophone F1's overall score of 85.5. Despite of the fact the Apple iPhone 8 Plus is older and heavier than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, it's body is still thinner. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, because although it has less RAM memory and less and slower CPU cores, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
IPhone 8 Plus features a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a quite smaller screen and a quite lower pixel density, it also counts with a bit brighter display. Xiaomi Pocophone F1 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 counts with a really longer battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition and a same resolution back camera, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Pocophone F1. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Pocophone F1, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
